The GORE-TEX® Experience Tour: ”Mastering the Nordic Light” in Lapland

The led-grey clouds put a lid over south Lapland the three days of the photo contest ”Mastering the Nordic Light” lasted. The Scandinavian contribution to the “Experience Tour” by Gore turned out to be a major challenge to the winning photographers, Marie Linnér and Espen Schive. An even greater challenge than expected because of the difficult light conditions.

”It has been an inspiring weekend nevertheless. Very intensive one though, working in bad weather conditions and with high expectations upon ourselves”, Espen Schive says.

During the three days at amazing Borgafjäll resort, photographer Dan Kullberg has been sharing his experience with Marie and Espen, discussing pictures, composition, light, focus, shade of grades, saturation, etc.
The results of Dan’s tutorial and the hard work of Marie and Espen is a sample of quiet yet intensive pictures from what it’s the gate to exotic Lapland. Enjoy!
